Preparation
Preheat oven to 400 - degrees. Place the spareribs in a shallow roasting pan. Cover with foil and roast in oven for 1-1/2 hours.
Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients in a medium saucepan; mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Brush the sauce on the ribs. Broil 5 inches from the heat for 7 to 10 minutes on each side. Cut the ribs into serving-size pieces. Serve the ribs with additional sauce.
